NFT Sales Surge Over 21% This Week, Ethereum Dominates

 

This week witnessed a continued surge in NFT sales. According to the latest figures, NFT transactions reached $285.11 million across 21 different blockchain platforms, marking a 21.31% increase. However, the number of NFT buyers dropped significantly by 76.36%, and the number of sellers decreased by 74.6%.

Ethereum maintained its leading position during these seven days, accumulating sales of $153.6 million, followed by Bitcoin with $51.9 million. Ethereum’s NFT sales surged by 108.32%, while Bitcoin saw a decrease of 20.9%.

NFT sales on Solana also experienced a decline, dropping by 13.5% to $43.5 million. Following Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and Solana (SOL) in NFT sales are Polygon and Mythos. Polygon’s sales decreased by 17.8% to $8.23 million, while Mythos caught up with the trend with a 9.47% increase, reaching $6.2 million.

The top NFT collection of the week was Ethereum’s Pandora, generating $59.9 million. Close behind was Ethereum’s Nobody, with revenue of $15.2 million. In third place was the Uncategorized Ordinals collection on Bitcoin, with sales of $13.1 million. Mythos’ Dmarket secured the fourth position, and Ethereum’s Pudgy Penguins ranked fifth for the week.

The highest-priced NFT sold was Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT #1,726, fetching $668,297 two days ago. Following closely was Bitcoin Honey Badgers NFT with revenue of $110,256, and Lockdealnft of BNB ranked third with sales of $61,793.
